The Abbeyfield Wey Valley Society has three care homes in Farnham, two sheltered houses in Guildford and one sheltered house in Haslemere and offers a warm, friendly ‘home-from-home’ environment in all six establishments.
Managed as a charity, the Society is overseen by professional trustees and skilled volunteers drawn from the local community.
A chief executive manages the operations and a professional management team runs each of the homes. In addition, residents are invited to regular meetings where they are encouraged to play an active role in the running of the home they reside in.
Every resident enjoys a spacious, pleasantly decorated en-suite bedroom together with several lounges in each home to allow for quiet seating, conversation or watching television.
On-site chefs ensure nutritious and well-balanced meals are tailored to all tastes with a variety of choice for all. Beautiful, well-maintained gardens are a feature of all the homes while a programme of activities on and off the premises encourages participation and companionship.
